Under-Eye Fillers

Brighten hollow tear troughs and reduce dark circles

The under-eye tear trough — the groove between the lower lid and cheek — deepens with age and creates a hollow, shadowed appearance that makes people look tired and older. A small amount of precisely placed hyaluronic acid filler softens this depression, brightening the eye area without surgery.

This is one of the more technically demanding filler areas — placement must be at the correct depth and in the correct plane to avoid swelling and the Tyndall effect (a bluish discolouration). We use only reversible hyaluronic acid fillers and blunt cannula technique for safety.

Key Benefits

  • Reduces hollowing and shadowing under the eyes
  • Visible results immediately with full settling in 2 weeks
  • Reversible with hyaluronidase if needed
  • Natural-looking improvement with minimal swelling using cannula technique

Is This Treatment Right For You?

  • Patients with a visibly hollow or sunken under-eye area
  • Those where under-eye darkness is due to shadowing from hollowing rather than pigmentation
  • Adults with a prominent tear trough regardless of age

Frequently Asked Questions

Will filler make my under-eye area puffy?

With careful technique and appropriate product choice, puffiness is minimised; the risk is why choosing an experienced injector is particularly important in this area.
